Captured by a giant!

Sophie is just an ordinary orphaned girl but before you could say "Jumping Giants" she is whisked off to giant land.

When Sophie sees the other giants she can't believe that the giants are cruel and eat humans unlike the BFG: The Big Friendly Giant.

When the giants go off to guzzle some humans Sophie decides to stop them and the BFG will help her.

The BFG contains a powerful lesson of friendship and teamwork. For example, when the BFG and Sophie try to stop the giants. A part from the text that says this is when Sophie says, "We've absolutely got to stop them."

Roald Dahl as a World War II pilot wrote about his adventures and became a writer.

If you loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, you will gobble The BFG down as fast as pizza.

I highly recommend this fantasy story for ages 8 and up.
