"Auggie I didn't mean to hurt - " Jack couldn't finish his sentence. Auggie was gone.

All Auggie wants is to be looked at as a normal kid, but he way his face is, he can't. He finds friends, Summer and jack, but one of them turns their back on him. But that changes later and they are friends again.

The readers are touched by this book and everybody liked it including me, my sister, my dad and my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Mills. It would be for kids in middle school and older because of its length and the characters are in middle school.

In Wonder, Auggie (August) is trying to fit in and be accepted in middle school. A part of the text that shows hit is when he sits with Jack and Summer.
