"She's dead! I've already told you a million times, our grandmother is dead!"

That's what Sabrina and Daphne think when they are thrust into yet another foster home with their supposed to be dead grandmother.

Sabrina thinks "Granny Relda" is crazy (like all of their other foster parents) when she tells them that fairy tales are real (and of course, Daphne totally believes Granny Relda) but little does she know when a giant come sto town, taking Granny Relda and Mr. Doris with it.

Sabrina often remarks, "This woman is crazy!" But she eventually gets to know her grandmother, and doesn't think that as much.

This surprising book contains several metaphors, but here's one. In the book, Granny Relda has a purse that oculd stand for secrets because she keeps a lot of stuff in there that the girls don't know about, including a picture of her family.

This remarkable book is about trust, sisterhood, and friendship.

The Sisters Grimm comes out great for telling fairy tales with a twist. It includes modern day places and times. A message in it is don't doubt everyone you see, only the ones you know you can doubt. This is important because Sabrina doubts all the Everafters.

For fans of Harry Potter, a book filled with adventure and surprises, ages 7 and up.
